Started out trading physical biodiesel, soybean oil and refined oil products. Utilized soybean crush to price biodiesel product to execute forward contracts with buyers. Aggregated physical positions while hedging with futures and options delta. Also managed hedging program and 2 traders, acted as principal of a Commodity Trading Advisor.

• Managed two investment strategies, including an HFT program that profits from underlying order flow.
• Led credit evaluation process to be onboarded on the Platts Market on Close window, making us the first company to trade biodiesel with counterparties such as Louis-Dreyfus, ADM, Morgan Stanley, and BP.

• Then I Went to Wall Street

Built an FX broker from scratch and took it through the industry's last major regulatory evolution.

• Maintained profitability for the firm from day one by properly organizing client risk between trading books.
• Created the entire risk management reporting system, with hedging strategies and reports on overall firm P/L and market exposure. Developed EMIR reporting from the ground up.

• My Big Bank Breakout

Head of Alfa Group’s global brokerage HQ with YoY turnover of 1bn EUR. Working on the central execution desk of the firm’s equity business, including proprietary desk. Trading equities, bonds, futures, options, repo, FX and forwards for banks, institutional and hedge fund clients. Run P/L of $3m+ annually.

• Trading with hedge funds under ISDA, HNW clients under custody brokerage, institutional counterparties via DVP settlement. Expanded market access to MOEX, NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, all developed Europe, Hong Kong, Turkey, Canada.
• Developed statistical arbitrage algo in Python which profits from dollar-neutral spreading in equities. Achieved 3% MoM return with very low risk.
