2018 – 2022
HHead of Alfa Group’s global brokerage HQ with YoY turnover of 1bn EUR. Implementation and development of new trading products and services for equities.
2016 – 2018
Head of proprietary equity trading desk working on the team responsible for Gazprombank’s EU equity trading. Connected mainly large Russian institutional clients such as funds, insurers, banks, and wealth managers to US and EMEA markets by building the firm’s first MiFID II compliant infrastructure.
2014 – 2016
Built a new Metatrader-based FX broker from scratch with the founders. Built the firm’s first EMIR reporting pipeline from scratch. Appointed Head of Reception and Transmission of Orders, handling all compliance and audit-related issues with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
2011 – 2013
Built and developed 2 new country dealing desks at a global top 10 FX broker. Charged with managing the development of dealing desks around the world including the firm's NFA/CFTC regulated US broker as well as the Cyprus broker regulated by European Union MiFID law.
2010 – 2011
Dealing spot biodiesel, soybean oil and animal tallows; utilizing soybean crush to price biodiesel product to execute forward contracts with buyers, aggregating positions while hedging with futures and options delta hedging.
When I'm not trading or building software, I race in international rallies, ride motorcycles across continents while fundraising for Unicef, practice classical piano, and fix machines of all kinds. Father of two.
My alter ego is Silk Rider; Rally champion and off-road racer.
Rode to the Sahara Desert, to Mount Ararat and beyond. Came in second in the 2023 World Rally-Raid Championship.
Raised over €1,000 for Unicef through promoting far away places where children live on my travels.
Studied classical piano and continue playing in my recording studio.
